My approach is
simple and practical.
Make it useful
Start with the decision or workflow the system needs to improve, not the model that happens to be trending.
Design for change
Keep providers, data sources, and orchestration layers modular so a good prototype can become a durable product.
Measure the loop
Track quality, latency, cost, and failure modes together. Production is where the interesting trade-offs appear.
